Who is on the Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board?
Senior managers and professionals from agencies which play a major role in protecting children from harm attend meetings. They come from the – District and Borough Councils in Warwickshire, – Children’s Services which now incorporates the Local Education Authority and Children’s Social Services, – Connexions, – the Police, – Health Organisations in Warwickshire and There are also representatives from the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS), the Probation Service, services that work with people who have experienced domestic violence, including their children, and the Warwickshire Youth Offending Service. There is also a legal representative from Warwickshire County Council and representatives from the Voluntary Sector and Adult Social Care and Health Services. WSCB involves other organisations in its work through an Associate Membership Scheme. There is an annual conference where all these people meet to consider priorities for the year ahead.
