WhO IS OLIVIA LUFKIN?
To begin with, I like Olivia because she can ACTUALLY SING! Most Japanese artist keep the high pitch tones (in terms of pop music). She has a very unique style, that stretches from not just pop but rock and even indie and surreal styles. Obviously she’s not pure japanese, in fact shes a CALIFORNIAN! From what I hear she’s originally from L.A, but I could be wrong. Most of her videos are very abstract, and her lyrics do say more than just stupid things. Actually some of her songs, have very little to no vocals at all. It’s really about the play of her voice to the music. That to me is bringing art in music <3 Though I hear she was from another girl group prior to her solo career so that's probably how she got her jumpstart in the solo career and having a fan base and such, but it really wasn't till she did songs for the hit Anime series Nana.
