Who is older Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman?
The story of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer came to life in 1939 by a man named Robert L. May. He wrote it for Montgomery Wards to pass out free to children at Christmas. Around 1949 his brother-in-law, Johnny Marks wrote the lyrics to the song which was made famous by singer Gene Autry. So inspired by that song in 1950 Jack Nelson and Steve Rollins produced the lyrics to Frosty the Snowman also made famous by Gene Autry.
