Who is not a good candidate for Liposuction / Tumescent Liposuction?
Generally, patients with widespread obesity or excessive, loose skin are not helped by liposuction. For many patients who have excessive skin or who have lost the elasticity of their skin, a traditional skin resection may be necessary. If their body contouring irregularities are due to structures other than fat, such as bone or weaknesses in the muscles, these problems cannot be corrected by liposuction.
