Who Is NFIB/Georgias Pick for Secretary of State?
ATLANTA, Oct. 25, 2010 – The state office of the National Federation of Independent Business, Georgia’s leading small business association, said today it has endorsed Brian Kemp for Georgia secretary of state. The endorsement follows a special survey of NFIB/Georgia members, in which 99 percent of respondents said they supported Kemp. “Brian Kemp is member of NFIB, and during his time in the state Senate, he earned an 88 percent NFIB voting record,” said David Raynor, state director of NFIB/Georgia. “Brian Kemp has been a consistent and vocal advocate for Georgia’s entrepreneurs and small, family businesses,” Raynor said. “Since he was appointed in January to fill Karen Handel’s unexpired term, he has launched an initiative called ‘Cut the Red Tape’ to help reduce the regulatory burden on small businesses. “This is exactly the kind of leadership we need in order to help Georgia’s small businesses grow and create jobs,” Raynor said. “I am honored to have the endorsement of the NFIB,” Ke
