Who is NATA?
NATA was originally created by the Australian Federal Parliament in 1947 to provide a national laboratory accreditation system to assess technical competence. It was the first such system in the world and remains the largest and most diversified, serving as a model for many other countries. Today it is a non-profit association of members providing independent third party assessment of facilities in various fields.
