Who is my contact point in a large first year module?
Module organisers and lecturers will be available to answer questions on course content. Biology practicals involve large groups, but personal contact is provided by Demonstrators. These people are typically salaried staff and some final year PhD students who look after a group of about 15 students throughout the semester, mark their work, and provide an important contact point for new students.
