Who is more resourceful?
Answer Hi John – Wow that is a good question. I guess I’d have to with Data, just because I feel like I know him better. Species 8472 seemed very resourceful and capable of using the elements of their environment to their advantage, but I think, if I had to pick, I’d go with Data. Though the Excalbians were rock creatures, I didn’t get any indication that they actually lived in rocks. The Horta was perfectly content crawling through rocks and that was her natural habitat. Based on those assumptions I’d say the Horta were more at home within a rock like environment. I’d probably go with Vash. Troi spends most of her time in the cushy environment of a starship, sitting on a nice soft couch listening to other people talk about their problems. Sure, she participates in the occasional Tai’Chi or Mok’Bara class, but she also plants herself in Ten Forward and chows down on chocolate sundaes with some regularity.
