Who is more powerfull between Jean Grey and Scarlet Witch and why?
This is a difficult question to answer because it would really depend a lot on the condition of each person. If you’re taking Jean Grey as herself, without the Phoenix Force present, it could be a pretty good contest. Scarlet Witch has the power to alter reality, but can often have trouble controlling her powers. Jean Grey’s basic powers are psionic in nature, mainly focusing around telepathy & telekinesis, but she is highly adept at using them. However, things get a little hairier if you throw in the Phoenix Force. Also, it was not all that long ago the Scarlet Witch went loony, destroying the Avengers in the “Avengers:Disassembled” storyline. She was also responsible for the “House of M” storyline, which was a total alteration of reality in the Marvel Universe, ultimately resulting in a drastic reduction in the number of beings with mutant powers.
