Who is more likely to get bladder spasms after surgery?
I have not been able to get any clear answers to this question. By looking at comments on this blog, bladder spasms seem very much split evenly between boys and girls. The nurses opinion The hospital nurses I talked to said most children experience bladder spasms to various degrees. I did not get the impression my daughter’s case was exceptional in any way. The nurses said that the older the girl, the more painful bladder spasms are.
