Who is more important to be playing for the Wests Tigers, Robbie Farah or Benji Marshall?
Going to go against the crowd here and say Benji. The Tigers need a half. With Moltzen gone, the pressure is go Benji to produce the goods in attack. Not saying that Farah isn’t though… If Benji was gone for the season, we would probably have Lazuras or Fitzhenery at 5/8. These guys just won’t cut it and won’t take us to the finals as Benji would (or could). Benji is the base of our attacking flair and without him, we’d be boring. If Farah was gone for the seaon, it still would be a big loss, but we have Flanagan or that new guy Waters that can get the job done, not at the standard that Farah does though. So I’d say Marshall is out more important player.
Benji can turn a whole game around when he’s playing well. Benji playing awesome = much higher chance of Tigers winning. I’m always weary of him when the Knights play tigers. But Farah is probably overall more important to the Tigers because he’s captain, main playmaker etc like everyone else said.
