Who is more evil macbeth or lady macbeth?
I’m writing an essay on Macbeth too! I wouldn’t necessarily say that one is more evil than the other. It’s left to your own personal interpretation. They have both commited evil acts, and they are depraved in their own way. For instance, Lady Macbeth almost forces Macbeth to murder Duncan in the first place, and it’s very likely that he wouldn’t have commited the murder if it wasn’t for her taunting him. However, by the end of the play, I’d say Macbeth becomes a heartless character who has disregard for human life. I’d say they’re probably slightly deranged, but I don’t think that provides either of them with an excuse really… Well, it’s just what you personally think really, and how you interpret it!
