Who is more corrupt Police or Politicians ?
As a 30 veteran of law enforcement I have seen both. In this day and age, a corrupt Police Officer does not last long. The reason we hear about them is because they are arrested by the honest ones. In Louisiana there are or were whole Sheriff’s Departments that were corrupt. I have friends in the South that will drive around Louisiana rather that take the chance of being stopped on the Interstate 10 and being fleeced by these deputies. The new Governor is cleaning it up. In New Orleans the process used to be to become a police officer there you did not apply like you normally would at any other city. It was an appointed position for doing a political favor for a politician. Look at our candidates for President and most in Congress. They could not pass the background investigation to become a police officer yet they piously make laws for the rest of us. I would go with the politicians being the more corrupt. We have members of Congress that are impeached Judges that have $90,000 in cash
