Mego Inc. is an online avatar company based in Los Angeles, CA.  These avatars are essentially online representations of the user that creates them.  These avatars can be added to the users’ social networking profiles such as Facebook and MySpace.  Mego Inc. announced in January of 2009 that they will be working on expanding the compatibility of their avatars to other blogs and web sites as well as working on an avatar application for iPhone.
