Each year, the NCG is managed by one of the four major BCS bowl organizations: the Fiesta Bowl, the Sugar Bowl, the Orange Bowl or the Tournament of Roses. The system for hosting the NCG is called double hosting, because the bowl organization in the rotation that year will host its main bowl game on January 1 and a second game (the NCG) about a week later.
