Who is Malcolm Baldrige?
Malcolm Baldrige became Ronald Reagan’s Commerce Secretary in 1981. He earned a reputation for improving efficiency and effectiveness in government. Baldrige was a colorful character—a long-time champion roper installed in the National Cowboy Hall of Fame. He died in a rodeo accident in 1987.
