Who is MAE?

The Massachusetts Association of Electrologists, Inc. (MAE), an affiliate of the American Electrology Association (AEA), was chartered in 1950. We are a not-for-profit organization primarily dedicated to the continuing education of electrologists and the enhancement of the electrology profession. Our focus is to disseminate information, provide a fertile forum for the exchange of ideas, and promote electrolysis to the public and to other professionals. Membership in this organization is comprised of professional practitioners of needle electrolysis. The MAE membership elects its officers and six-person board of directors, each of whom assumes the chair of a working committee, every two years. A board of advisors, comprised of MAE’s active past-presidents, offers guidance in association activities. Continuing Education… MAE has dedicated itself to making sure its membership is offered more than the required number of state-mandated continuing education units (CEUs) for relicensure eve
