Who is Linda Hudson?
Hudson is President of BAE Systems Land & Armaments Operating Group. She assumed this position in January 2007. She leads the largest military vehicle business in the world. Her acquisition of Armor Holdings Inc. effectively doubled the size of the group’s operations.
Prior to joining BAE Systems, she served for seven years as an officer and vice president of the General Dynamics Corporation and she was the President of General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products.
She received a bachelor’s from University of Florida in Systems Engineering. Hudson is considered by the U.S. Government to be an expert on industrial base issues and defense reutilization. She is also the first woman to receive the Natinal Infantry Association’s "Military Order of St.Maurice" in recognition of her outstanding support of the U.S. Army Infantry.
