Who is learning Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese in China at our Language Immersion Program?
All our Chinese language students are over the age of 18, most of them are university students who are taking advantage of their summer vacations to get a head start learning Mandarin Chinese for the upcoming University term; while also gaining valuable Chinese cultural immersion experience that will help them in their schools studies and/ or future careers. We also have a large number of older adults who are learning Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese in order to further their career or to establish business dealings in China. Our staff realise that people come to China to learn Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese for a wide variety of reasons and that every students needs are different. Teachers here work hard to make everyone feel comfortable and at home, both in learning Mandarin Chinese and in being in a new culture.
