Lady Elizabeth Manners was the daughter of John Manners, 8th Earl of Rutland and Hon. Frances Montagu.1 She married James Annesley, 2nd Earl of Anglesey, son of Arthur Annesley, 1st Earl of Anglesey and Elizabeth Altham, on 17 September 1669.1 She died on 7 December 1700, from breast cancer.1 She was buried on 10 December 1700 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, England.2 Her will (dated 10 February 1699/1700) was probated on 20 January 1700/1.2 Her married name became Annesley. As a result of her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Manners was styled as Countess of Anglesey on 6 April 1686.
