Who is Katharine McPhee?
Born in L.A. on March 25, 1984, Katharine Hope McPhee wowed American Idol audiences during the singing contest’s fifth season in 2006. Her angelic yet soulful voice captured hearts across the country, earning her runner-up status. Since then, she’s come out with three albums, the self-titled Katharine McPhee (2007), Unbroken (2010), and the popular holiday record Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You. Besides her music career, Katharine also made a name for herself in the world of acting, notably as hippie sorority sister Harmony in the 2008 comedy The House Bunny. We expect we’ll see a lot more greatness to come from this rising young star.
