Jethro Tull was an English agricultural pioneer whose contributions to the British Agricultural Revolution include iterations of plowing mechanisms and the seed drill, a device used to sow seeds. He is also the namesake of Jethro Tull, a British rock group that has sold more than sixty albums since its inception in 1967.
