Who is Jeff Beard and what kind of an authority on infrared thermography is he?

Jeff is an ITC Certified Level III Infrared Thermographer (certification number 22000). He will tell you that he is just beginning to scratch the surface of knowledge about infrared thermography. However, he has been using infrared thermography since 2003. Level III thermographers have the credentials to lead and instruct Level I and II infrared thermographers. Jeff also consulted a Level III colleague, Chad Scott, as a SME (subject matter expert) during the development of this module.
