Who is Jeanne Faulconer, and is she a good speaker?
Jeanne Faulconer has been a popular speaker at past VaHomeschoolers events. We have invited her to be our featured speaker because we think she’s terrific! Jeanne and her husband Rick homeschool their three boys ages 17, 15, and 7, in Hernando, Mississippi, having also homeschooled in Virginia and North Carolina. A La Leche League leader for thirteen years, Jeanne enjoys writing and speaking about parenting and home education with a special emphasis on relationships and communication. Jeanne is founder and facilitator of the Midsouth Eclectic Homeschool Network, which serves homeschoolers in Mississippi, just south of Memphis. She was recently elected to the board of directors of the Family and Home Network. She received her MA in Communication from University of North Carolina-Greensboro and was an Assistant Professor of English, Journalism, and Communication at Averett College in Danville.
