Who is Irene Rosenfeld?
She is the chairwoman and CEO of Kraft Foods. Rosenfeld holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Statistics, a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell University.
Rosenfeld was appointed to her position in 2006. She is a 25-year veteran of the food and beverage industry and advanced to her leadership position at Kraft over the years. When she took the lead at Kraft, she put money into brand building, empowering local managers in developing countries, and launched more ready-to-eat fare. She was also a key figure in the highly successful integration of the Nabisco acquisition by Kraft.
