Intuit is partnering with Cooler, a climate change software company whose methodology and approach to neutralizing the global warming impact of products and services is backed by leading environmental organizations such as the Natural Resources Defense Council, The Environmental Defense Fund, the National Wildlife Federation, and The Gold Standard. Cooler uses a methodology known as the Economic Input-Output Life Cycle Analysis (EIO-LCA), which calculates emissions based on financial and economic data.
