Who is ineligible?
• The following individuals are not eligible for Short Term Medical. • Persons currently pregnant and their immediate family members • Persons engaging in hazardous activities/occupations on a regular basis • Persons seeking coverage specifically for sporting activities, (football, skiing, etc.) • Persons seeking coverage while traveling out of the U.S. • Those with other hospital, major medical, group medical, or Medicare/Medicaid coverage in force • Newborn children under 15 days old • Persons over 64 and 11 months old.
