Headcount enrollments represent the number of students actively enrolled at a campus for a specified census date. The census date is the close of the third week of instruction for campuses on a quarter calendar and the fourth week of instruction for campuses on a semester calendar. This definition applies to all terms that comprise the college year. • What is full-time equivalent student enrollment? The number of full-time equivalent students (FTES) for a term is derived by dividing total semester or quarter student credit hours attempted at a campus by 15.
