Who is in charge of the budget process for Dartmouth?
February 13, 2009 President James Wright in November 2008 asked Provost Barry Scherr and Executive Vice President Adam Keller to “consult widely and then to develop a plan and accelerate the normal annual budget-planning cycle” to bring Dartmouth’s expenses in line with reduced revenues. The budget reductions announced on February 9, 2009 were approved by President Wright and endorsed by the Board of Trustees.
