Who is in charge of overseeing discipline/quietness in residence?
There are a lot of people working in residence at King’s and everyone has the same goal; to help create a great environment for academics as well as for fun. Student Patrol is comprised of a group of upper year students who conduct nightly rounds of the campus and all residences to ensure that residence regulations are being observed. Residence Dons live on each floor of Alexandra Hall and in each Bay. Dons are usually graduates or post graduate students; these are your fearless leaders. The Dean of Residence supervises both of these groups, as well as the residence system overall and also lives on campus.
