Who is in charge of allocating the funds from Collections and donations?
In most cases a Collection has a USCCB Subcommittee whose staff manages the grant process. The staff of each collection analyzes each proposal and determines if the proposal falls under one of the categories established by the Bishop’s subcommittee and if the amount requested is appropriate for the completion of the project. The staff will present recommendations to the Subcommittee. The Subcommittee makes the final funding decisions.
