Huckleberry Hound is a cartoon fictional character created by Hanna-Barbera. He was the main star attraction of the animated series called ‘The Huckleberry Hound Show’. The animated cartoon was released in the year 1950. The Huckleberry cartoon series is regarded as the show that made Hanna-Barbera famous. The voice over for Huckleberry Hound was provided by ‘Daws Butler’. The character of Huckleberry Hound was a blue coloured dog who spoke with a Southern Drawl. He was a character with a sweet and relaxed voice with a well intentioned personality. Most of the episodes of the cartoon were based on Huckleberry Hound trying to find jobs ranging from a policeman to a dog catcher. However all of his attempts were back fired. Huck also used to sing his favourite song called “Oh My Darling Clementine”.
