Most energy auditors currently work independently in Maine. Evergreen Home Performance LLC is actively seeking applicants for energy auditors and efficiency techs. Other companies around the state are having a hard time finding skilled people. Candidates that complete the energy auditor certification are encouraged to apply for a position with Evergreen. Efficiency techs that complete this program and have a prior background in remodeling, construction, crew management, etc. can apply now for a position with Evergreen starting at $22-25/hr to start upon certification.
