Who is going to be leaving NCIS and how are they going to be written out?
Fears from NCIS fans that someone from the team was heading off to do the spin-off was allayed when an entirely new team was introduced in the “Legend” episodes. There are, however, still rumors that Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony, might leave NCIS, and show runner Shane Brennan neither confirmed nor denied such speculation. “That’s not correct … but that’s not wrong, either,” he tells TV Guide, letting out a laugh. “It’s one of those things that people are going to have to watch to figure out.” The NCIS sixth season finale “Aliyah” will air on May 19, and will feature Ziva’s (Cote de Pablo) homecoming to Israel with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the rest of the team.
