Who is Gavrilo Princip?
Gavrilo Princip was the Yugolsav nationalist who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophia. While being arrested, he tried to commit suicide by ingesting cyanide, but it failed to work. Being twenty-seven days short of his twentieth birthday, he was too young to receive the death penalty. He got a twenty year sentence and died of tuberculosis almost eleven years after the assassination.
