Who is funding Greenroads?
Good question. Without funding we are not able to do much. So far, funding comes from: • TransNow (US DOT Region 10 University Transportation Center). A reserach center at the University of Washington. They look to fund early and innovative research in transportation. Green Roads falls under their transportation infrastructure interest. • State Pavement Technology Consortium (SPTC). A consortium of 5 state DOTs (CA, FL, MN, TX, WA) that meets and shares/funds research and findings on an anual basis. • CH2M HILL through thier own internal funding of work on Greenroads. The UW and CH2M HILL are partners in this development effort.
