Who is fit for steam bath?
A person who has a cardiovascular trouble should avoid taking steam bath. It is not suitable for them as it increases the cardiovascular activities artificially which they might not be able to bear naturally. Small children and those who are suffering from fever should not take steam bath. The process of taking steam bath: -Do not take steam bath continuously for more than 15 minutes. You can stay in the steam as long as you feel comfortable. -Drink plenty of water before taking the steam bath as it is very dehydrating. It is good to take lemon water before taking the bath. -Stay under a shower for sometime before taking the steam bath. Get yourself to the room temperature and then enter the steam chamber.
