Who is entitled to school/college transport?

0

You need to have your child enrolled at school/college before we can arrange transport for you but we can advise before enrolment as to whether you would qualify for transport help from a particular address. All homes have a school/college designated to them for transport assistance. To be eligible for free school/college transport a pupil must attend the designated school/college appropriate for his/her age and the home address, and must be over the statutory distance. The distance is measured along the ‘shortest available walking route’. If you are unsure which school/college is designated to your address for transport entitlement or whether you are over 2 (for primary) or 3 miles (for secondary/college), please contact the Admissions & Transport Section on 0845 607 6060.
