Who is entitled to a Pensioner Concession card fare?
Australian Pensioner Concession card holders receiving the following payments are entitled to the Pensioner Concession fare: • Age pension • Disability support pension • Parenting payment (single) • Carer payment • Veteran affairs • Mature age allowance • 0+ years receiving a benefit • Partial work capacity • Unemployed carer of dependant Healthcare card holders are not entitled to the concession fare. Concession fares are subject to availability. The card expiry date must be valid at the time of travel and must be presented when boarding. Failure to present a valid card will result in the passenger having to pay the full adult fare. All concessions are valid for one person per card. When more than one name is on the concession card, the primary card holder (the first name) only is entitled to the concession fare.
