Who is Ellen Kullman?
Kullman is president and CEO of DuPont, the world’s second-largest chemical company. She began her business career at General Electric where she was later elected to director. After GE, she joined DuPont in 1988 as a marketing manager and then became the external vice president for DuPont business platforms; she is credited with leading the company’s growth in international markets.
DuPont announced Kullman as CEO starting January 1, 2009. She is the first woman in the line of CEOs elected to the company.
