Who is eligible to use iReg?
• New companies that have never been assigned a Virginia business account number. • New specialty dealers for flea markets, gun shows, and art/craft shows. (Specialty dealers such as Avon, Amway and other similar dealers cannot register using this online registration.) • The person registering a business using iReg must be a responsible officer of the business and must be authorized to register the business. • You do not need to apply for a new Virginia account number if you are adding additional vending machines in a city or county where you are already registered. Note: If you do not qualify to use iReg, but still register a business online which does not qualify, the entire registration will be invalidated and any Virginia account numbers and sales tax registration certificates assigned during the registration process will be cancelled.
