An undergraduate student who is enrolled in and is within two regular semesters of graduating from an approved engineering program is eligible to take the FE exam. Eligible institutions proctor the FE exams for their students. (Board Rule133.65(a)) A non-student (previously graduated) who has a degree in engineering or related science may register through the Board to take the examinations at Board proctored locations.
