All teachers with qualified teacher status (QTS) teaching at a school in England are eligible to apply for a course which is in receipt of postgraduate professional development (PPD) funding. Exceptions to this rule include those who do not hold full QTS (for example, teaching assistants), those teaching adults, and those who are now eligible for the new masters in teaching and learning (MTL).
