The Principal Investigator (PI) must be a U of G faculty member, either Full, Associate or Assistant. Adjunct or contract faculty are not eligible to be the PI, but they can be included as project collaborators and thus can direct portions of the research activity and control the portion of the budget for their component of the project, under the PIs overall direction.
