Who is eligible to receive H1N1 vaccine?
Centers for Disease Control has recommended priority groups to receive vaccination during the preliminary limited supply phase. These priority groups are: • pregnant women • children from 6 months to 24 years old • health care providers • care providers to infants under 6 months of age • individuals 25 to 64 years old who have underlying medical conditions UCSF Occupational Health Services will administer H1N1 vaccination according to CDC guidelines. The initial, high priority occupational category to receive H1N1 will be healthcare workers. As supply becomes available, H1N1 vaccine will be available to all UCSF personnel with an Employee ID.
