Who is eligible to receive CFB donations?
People in need include those leaving transitional housing that serves people who have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, or chemical dependency, victims of personal or natural catastrophes, young adults leaving the foster care system because of age, those recently released from incarceration, refugees settling in this area, and those with mental or physical challenges who have been in long term care facilities. Other qualified participants may be considered by the Furniture Bank based on discussions with the client’s caseworker.
