Eligibility: Junior Golfer Defined by the USGA A “junior golfer ” is an amateur golfer who has not reached (i) the September 1 following graduation from secondary school or (ii) his 19th birthday, whichever comes first. Age Divisions: Divisions for non-invitationals for both boys and girls are 12-15 and 16-18. All majors/invitational are one division: 12-18 Elite Mini-Tour age divisions are 8-9, 10-11, 12-13. A player whose birthday falls at the start of the tournament can play in age division he/she registered for membership. For example, a player who registers for the 10-11 division turns 12 on the day of the tournament; he/she may play that tournament in the 10-11 if they are already registered but all future tournaments will be played in the correct age division. Please keep TJGT advised of changing age divisions. All points earned in the previous age division will not be transferred into the new age division. A player who earned points in the 10-11 division must start over earning
