Who is eligible to participate?
Any employee of an employer who sponsors a plan that is eligible for the employer’s benefit plan is also eligible for the transportation plan. The plan is not available to independent contractors, self-employed workers or those persons whose services are leased to the employer. In addition, only individuals who are currently employees at the time the qualified transportation benefit is provided are eligible to participate.
Eligible employees are defined as regular status (non probationary) career staff employees except those employees in the Senior Management Group (SMG), those employees at the Management and Senior Professionals Level MSP VIII, employees whose appointment is less than 50 percent, temporary appointments (limited, casual/restricted, per diem, floaters, employment contracts), employees receiving UCRP income or have received monthly retirement income or a lump sum from the pension plan, employees who already have a separation agreement or other severance arrangement in place prior to October 31, 2009, and employees with less than one year of service. Additionally, any employees in a student title, postdoctoral title, faculty (professor) or academic title are ineligible. A. The Department is seeking farmers who intend to have their land in continued agricultural use and who wish to enhance the economic viability of their farm. Farm operations must have been in active use for at least the three previous years to be eligible and applicants will be asked to present tax returns evidencing farming activities. Any Massachusetts farmer with at least 5 acres of land in agricultural production is eligible to apply. Farmland owners of land already preserved under the APR Program are eligible to apply for business planning assistance only. APR landowners with additional unrestricted, non-APR land, are eligible to receive funding.
North Carolina residents and residents of other SREB states may participate in the ACM. Specific guidelines are available on this website for NC residents and for residents of other SREB states. In order to be considered for participation, home-state residency will need to be verified and certified by your own state’s ACM State Coordinator. Some helpful residency guidelines are available for those who are claiming North Carolina as their residence.
