Who is eligible to participate?
• An employee in the Senior Management Group (SMG), • An employee with an appointment of less than 50% time, • An employee currently receiving or has received retirement benefits from the University of California Retirement Plan (rehired retirees), • An employee who, prior to October 30, 2009, is entitled to separation or severance pay under another arrangement, agreement or settlement with the University that is not part of the VSO program. UC Santa Barbara has the sole discretion to determine eligibility criteria and selection for participation that includes consideration of business and operational needs. Eligibility for represented employees will be determined by collective bargaining as appropriate.
• All CSM students/faculty/staff with a current CSM ID card • Spouses (with a current CSM ID) may play in co-rec sports with their CSM student/faculty/staff sponsor • The following are NOT eligible to participate in intramural events: • Alumni • Any person, who during the semester: • is on a varsity team when they play their first regular season game • is receiving athletic aid in that sport • is getting PA credit for that sport as a player or as a “Red shirt” • regularly practices with the varsity team • Community members Please note: • Only ONE ex-varsity letter winner will be eligible for intramural competition in his/her particular sport (per intramural team). They do not have to sit out a year, but the varsity team must have completed their season for a letter winner to participate in intramural sports. • CSM Club Sport Members- Members of CSM Club Sports are allowed to participate in the respective intramural sport, however, a maximum of three (3) Club Sport members are allowed o

Nonprofit Organizations: Nonprofits must have 501(c)(3) status in order to qualify for the Microsoft Software Donation Program. Public Libraries: Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database. All: Organizations must also meet all of the Microsoft giving guidelines to be able to receive software donations through either of the programs. • Florida Gulf Coast University students, faculty, and staff are eligible to participate in Intramural Sports activities. • Spouses are eligible to participate if they have a valid FGCU Recreation Club card. • Edison students are allowed to play with valid ID. • Alumni are eligible to participate. Alumni Association Member must pay a $35 dollar fee. • Varsity athletes may not participate in their sport or a related sport until two semesters after the end of the semester in which they participated at the varsity level. After two semesters, ex-varsity athletes may participate. • Varsity athletes are defined as those participating in organized practice or games at the varsity level and/or individuals that have been awarded an athletic scholarship but are not eligible for participation in games and/or practices.
