Participation in the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program is limited to Classified and Administrative and Professional Employees. To be eligible for the program an employee must meet all of the following requirements. • Have a combination of age and service with the State of Texas totaling 80 with at least 5 years of state service credit as of May 31, 2010; or have 20 or more years of service with the State of Texas as of May 31, 2010; and • Serve in an administrative and professional or classified staff position with an assignment of 100% as of May 31, 2010 unless excluded as indicated below. • The following employees are excluded from participation in the Voluntary Separation Incentive Program: • Employees who have faculty titles or faculty lines in the budget including but not limited to employees who have titles of dean, associate deans and assistant deans; • Employees who have previously retired from any State of Texas retirement program; • Employees who have entered into an agr
